Hockhocking Adena Bikeway
The HockHocking Adena bikeway is a rail trail running along the Hocking River from Nelsonville to Athens. It is a very relaxing, scenic journey through nature preserves and college campuses. Along the way there are some great options to stop and enjoy lunch and a cold beverage. There is also a trailhead in Chauncey, Ohio that is near the halfway point.

Hocking Hills Bike Rental offers electric mountain bikes that are very capable of handling the toughest trails or just playing around on the bikeway. We can meet you at the trailheads in Nelsonville or Chauncey for the bikeway or at Dorr Run for the Wayne National Forest trails. You can also rent these bikes for pit riding and track preview at the races.

SUR RON - $150 for a 5 hour ride or battery life down to 20% whichever comes first.
Helmet, googles, chest protector, and motorcycle boots are required. We have those available to rent for $45.
This bike is available to rent off-road only. It is not allowed on public roads, streets or highways. This bike is not legal on mountain bike trails or any other bikeway or paths that prohibit motorized vehicles.
We are suggesting Wayne National Forest Dorr Run Trailhead. Customer must provide their own Wayne National Pass. Seasonal and 2 day Passes are available nearby.
Book this bike at Wayne National Forest. Wayne National Forest Dorr Run OHV area offers 75 miles of 2 track trails. They are mostly green and blue trails with some more challenging sections. The trails are well maintained and very fun for beginner and intermediate riders. We would deliver the bike to an area near the Sycamore Trailhead in Haydenville just north of Nelsonville.

Perry State Forest
Bike Type: Dirt Bike - Husqvarna, KTM & Kawasaki
Perry state Forest is 4600 acres in Perry County. It is a scramble area, meaning that you don’t have to stay on marked trails. So there are unlimited possibilities of fun obstacles. The riding area is on an abandoned mine which gives it its unique terrain.
While there are easier routes and many fun areas to play, it is not the best option for beginners. Most of the best riding is not on the marked trails. We do offer guided tours at Perry to help you find fun stuff at your level.

Hocking Hills Bike Rentals has dirt bikes available to rent for races. If you need a bike for a family enduro, hare scramble, GP, GNCC, US Sprint Enduro, US Hard Enduro or any other race, call us. Racer support services such as bike setup, coaching, pit crew and transportation services are also available. Extra charges may apply.

With over 70 years of dirt bike experience, we can offer lessons for beginners to get you on the trail safely, and for experienced riders who want to improve their skills. The lessons are tailored to each riders needs and the pricing varies based on the number of rentals and day of the week.
